2005 sv6 Wiper problem

2005 Montana SV6
I'm have an issue with my wipers they are going up & down slowly like they are dragging on the windshield so i changed wiper blades still doing it but now they are stopping then relay resets then starts again then stops again till the relay kicks in again what could it be thanks..

Hi !
May be several reasons. Will enumerate only two reasons.
The first reason ....
Possibly water gets into the mechanism at the splined stud where the wiper arm is attached and the metal bushing rusts. Simple solution - is to replace the entire assembly.
Or. Remove the lever. Clean the from rust stud (WD 40) . Lubricate the bearing grease . Reinstall the lever.

The second reason ..
Possibly , related to the controller (also called the cover) on the wiper motor.(the controller is exposed to water) - Lubricate the contacts
Probably faulty diode

..... or . Either that or you have an electrical issue at the wiper


...... check the grease on the pulley
