If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... About a month ago I started having a problem with my low beam driving lights going out. At first I thought it was a fuse, but then they came back on. Now they are out more than on. My high beams and every thing else works. A mechanic told me that there is a broken or loose wire inside the fuse box that needs repaired, problem is these cars are made with the fuse box sealed shut so you can't open them to repair this problem. THis is going to cost me about $500. I drive my car for work and it has over 50,000 miles now so Pontiac says they can't help me because it is past the warranty. I feel that this electrical problem in a car less than 3 yrs. old is poor workmanship regardless of the amount of miles. Has anyone else had this problem? And does anyone know how I can get help from Pontiac to pay for at least part of the repairs?
