2006 Montana SV6 with 130k kms on it.

The service ABS light and warning have been coming up itermitently since I purchased the van, but as of late it seems to be happening more and more.
If it comes on, and then I turn off the car, it goes away temporarily.

I tried to read the codes but there are no codes stored in the computer.

I have done some research and it seems that this is most likely a EBCM, axle assembly, or wiring.

Has anyone one here expereinced this and what should I check first. Wiring I guess, but where is the likely culprit? My wife and kids ride in this van and I would like it to have ABS

Thanks

The easiest thing is to check the wiring at the sensor and connector down at the wheel there has been problems in the past where corrosion has caused problems , if you search the forum you will find that a lot of members report this and I thought the codes would be stored in the computer history ? Also down at the sensor the is a connector that connects the wiring from the van to the sensor it self check that maybe wet and corroded??
