2006 Montana tranny hard shifting

Hello everyone

I have 2006 montana sv6 ... when i am driving some times its shifting very hard then i turn it off and restart after 2 minutes then everything is normal ...no light, no transmission code, no slipping but why this happens? any body can help pls.

To start with, when is the last time you changed the transmission fluid and filter? If it has been done recently you can try a transmission additive, Lucas makes one. If that doesnt resolve it then your shift solenoids may be causing the issue.
