2006 Pontiac Torrent help needed

I have a 2006 Pontiac Torrent

Seems to have a little hard time turning over when starting. Takes extra long time to turn over or sometimes you have to give it a little gas to start.
I’ve had battery and alternator checked. Both fine.

Any ideas what it could be? Starter possibly?

Please clarify what you mean by "turn over".
Does the engine sound like it is spinning over normally when you have this issue or is it turning over slower than normal, or do you mean it turns over normally but it doesnt start immediately?
Do you have a check engine light on?
How many miles on the vehicle?

IAC ( idle air control) valve and it's port may need cleaning or you have low fuel pressure.

Spark plugs been changed lately?
