i have read the previous threads on overheating. i have also replaced the thermostat, the water pump, and the upper engine gaskets including the seats for the valves. After completion of all that work it still over heats when standing still. i rev the rpms to about 2500 and she cools down a bit. both cooling fans are functioning properly. i have no clue now however before i replaced the gaskets i was loosing a quart of oil monthly and had to add coolant at least once a week with no traces of the loss under the car. i am now thoroughly confused. there was a mention of pressure test in the previous threads .... ive never done one before can anyone explain the proceedure to me so i can do it. there were also mentions of bleeding the cooling system? how do i do that? if it matter any i have alot of pressure feeding back to the reservoir that i add my coolant to when its running hot. the coolant appears to be boiling with alot of steam coming from the cap.

you rent or buy a cooling system pressure tester
have you flushed out the radiator core with a cleaner?
have you tested the thermostat you currently are using in a pot of boiling water?
