Hi
I have a Torrent making a high pitch whine. Basically the faster you go the louder it seems to get. There is no difference between L4 and D. It feels like it's stuck in L4.
We thought worn tires may be the culprit, but we just installed our snow tires and the sound is the same, seemingly coming from the engine area.
The vehicle has about 186,000 kilometer's on it. The transmission has never been serviced.
Not to long ago we had to swap the main computer from another torrent and have it programmed. But this noise issue there until about 3 months later if that had anything to do with it.
We were thinking maybe wheel bearings going, but that wouldn't effect the L4 and D feeling the same...or would it?
