2006 Torrent Oil System

I just changed the oil in my 2006 Pontiac Torrent. When I checked the oil level, there was no oil on the dip stick. Checked it several times with the same results. The engine runs fine, in fact I drove the car at least 20 miles with no problems. A check of the oil level after I drove the car produced the same result, no oil on the dip stick. Any suggestions or possible causes.

You didnt put in the correct amount of oil when you changed it or you have a leak at the drain plug or filter
