Hey everyone,

Battery died and got it replaced. Now the AC/Heater won't work, remote not working, tire monitoring system light is on.

Checked fuses - they seem to be fine!!!

What happened??

Thanks for any help you can offer.

did this happen immediately after the battery was replaced?
who replaced the battery, you or a repair place?
If a repair place did you take it back to them?
You looked at fuses in both the engine compartment and passenger compartment?

Thanks for the reply melsg5.

My grand daughter got a tow truck from CAA the other night when she had a dead battery. They checked the battery and told her it needed to be replaced - they replaced it - this was the result. My grand daughter says that the truck driver checked both places for fuse problems, but said that wasn't the problem.

My first thought was the fuses, as well. She is having someone else check the fuses this morning.

did the CAA check the alternator output after replacing the battery?

A dead battery can be caused by end of it's lifetime or a charging system issue or a parasitic drain. You may want to have a shop confirm that the charging system is working correctly. Any update on the fuses? I assume CAA may have tried to jump start the vehicle before replacing the battery. Read the link below concerning fuses and jump starting.
