2008 RKE range low

I have a 2008 Torrent (build date 08/07) whos rke range is now down to >20'. I have replace the Batteries in both transmitters, relearned the transmitters, and taken it in. The dealer said they fixed the problem, and it was better for about a month but now it is back to low range. By the owners manual I should have 195' of range. I tested it yesterday in an open feild and a straight shot and it would not work untill under the 20' mark. Does anyone have an idea that I can check seeing that the dealer failed and it is now out of warrenty.

Update!!!

Being one to get on a subject and not leave it alone. I took apart my car. LOL I am an ASE certified tech who worked for Chrysler up till 2004, but I have been out of it for several years. Feeling more than compitant and hating how the dealer works I tracked down the rke module in the car. Pulled the whole dash apart inspected the antanna attachment and traced the wires. Not sure where they went, and not having a diagram I stopped there. After some thought I decided to resecure the all-in-one antenna on the roof, and that has seemed to fix the issue. Go figure?? now i am @ 200+ feet of total range. door locka and remote start are operating prefectly.

so you are saying you did nothing to your knowledge and now it works or are you saying you relocated the antenna lead and now it works?
