I have an 87 Grand Am SE 3.0. Does anyone know where I can find a belt tensioner assembly? A "mobile" mechanic snapped the bolt and the housing off the pulley, so now I need the assembly, but none of the parts stores in my area seem to have one. I don't even know what it looks like to use as a reference. I'm not familiar with these engines at all. Thank in advance for any help.

Look at Rockauto, they have them and why isn't the mechanic responsible to find it even if you pay for it?

No luck with Rock Auto, they have the pulley, but not the assembly. Does anyone know where I might be able to get this assembly/bracket? I've done the nation wide search/request through Junkyarddog.com.

I already have this piece, I need the entire bracket that this and the Alternator and Power Steering Pump bolts to.

This is what mine looks like. It's a crazy design.

In the first picture to the left above there is a part broken off, what does the broken section look like?
In the last picture to the right that broken area doesn't show, does it disconnect from the large bracket?

The broken piece is on the actual tensioner itself. The tensioner doesn't have a bolt holding it onto the bracket. I am not familiar with this motor at all and I've never seen one like this before.

Here's a couple pictures of the tensioner.
