Should the intake manifolds on the 71 and 72 455 HO be Blue. seems to me i remember them being painted back in the day but it seems everyone leaves them in a natural alum color these days.
they were painted Pontiac blue same as the rest of the engine, I have a 71 GTO 455 HO which my father purchased new so I am giving you first hand info on this.
