For an '86 2.8 liter. Cylinders 5 and 6 are misfiring. The following are all new: plugs, wires, distributor cap, pick-up coil, ignition module, ignition coil. Fuel pressure is 45 lbs. and compression is 125 lbs in all cylinders (+/- one lb). Engine starts and runs roughly on four cylinders. There may be occasionally an extremely brief cut in of cylinders 5 and/or 6 - nothing more than a blip. When pulled, the plugs from 5 & 6 are wet with fuel. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

leaky injectors ?

Leaking injectors, incorrect ignition timing, worn camshaft lobes, worn/bad lifters are some possibilities.

Someone might have swapped the injector connectors for cylinders 5 and 6. Cylinders 1-3-5 should be one side and 2-4-6 on the other side. The V-6 is "multiport" meaning 3 injectors fire at the same time.

Also check the spark plug wire firing order. On the V-6 it should be 1-2-3-4-5-6. If the wires for cylinder 5 and 6 are backwards it could cause your issue.
