Help !!! Looking to install headers on my 62 GP and can not seem to
find any anywhere ! Do not want to use block huggers, would prefer
factory style full length. Any help is appreciated...
Bob

what do you mean "factory style"? The factory used cast iron manifolds.

Oops... I meant standard hooker headers style.

The only people making headers for 61-64 full size Pontiac's were Mad Dog Headers out of Michigan, they used to be available from Jim Butler Performance, but I see they are listed as NOT AVAILABLE on Butlers web site, and no mention of Pontiac headers on Mad Dogs site anymore.

If it were me I would go with the cast iron version of the 61-70 B-body ram air manifolds, they flow at least 90% of what 4 tube header flow, no installation suprizes, are reasonably priced, and for an old guy like me the noise doesn't attract the Police like headers do. Also you don't have to keep tightening the bolts to stay on top of gasket leaks like headers.

62 GP tire size

Have a chance for a good deal on some wheels and tires and want to install
on my 62 GP. The fronts are 15x7 rims with 235-70 tires and the rears are
15x8 rims with 275-60 tires. Will they fit ?
Thanks...
Bob

you need to know the backspacing and the bolt pattern and then compare that to the stock wheels and measure whether there is sufficient room for the increased size.
