Anyone have a good picture of a horn switch on a 63 Catalina . I think I am missing something or have the wrong parts . Can't find anything on internet or catalog .
Thanks

have you looked in the large car catalog from www.amesperf.com under the steering wheel section? They have a diagram showing all the basic parts.
You dont have a copy of the 63 factory Shop Manual?

Checked with Ames , nothing for a 63 . No shop manual . Working on it for someone else . The parts that are there are the same as a 63 Chevy.

that doesnt make sense. It is listed in their large car catalog as part PW219P, it's on CD and is $49.
did you download the catalog and look at the steering wheel section?

Sorry, Ames does not list any horn switch parts for a 63. The shop manual may have a good picture, but since the car was here for just a couple small things I don't want to buy a manual.

Sorry I meant the manual is listed not the switch.

Pics of my spare 64 Catalina horn switch and what attaches to the center of the steering wheel, looking at the rear of the switch.

I think the GM part number for just the horn switch without all the chrome is # 9772712, and is the same for both 1963 & 1964.

I also have a reproduction chassis shop manual for 63 Pontiac with the 64 Pontiac Supplement chassis shop manual. I've attached the steering wheel exploded view for a 1963.

Thanks for the pictures, I think this is a standard wheel. No horn ring, just a center button . I will post some pictures later today.

Here is what I have. I don't think the guts are correct . These are the same as a Chevy . If the Catalina used the same parts then one would think that the restoration places would carry them, and I haven't found anything for a 63 Catalina. Must be something different somewhere.
