How much interest would members of this forum have in Stainless Steel Headers for their Edelbrock or stock heads on a 67-69 Firebird Ram Air IV??

I am currently negotiating with Stainless Works to have 2 sets made for 2 customers of mine but they need at least 10 sets to make it worth them creating a new part number.

If there are existing forum members that are not only interested, but ready to purchase now, I can do a group buy and offer this header for $999.00 plus shipping.

I assure you that these are by far the highest quality headers made, bar none. Please check out their website at www.stainlessworks.net to see their existing products.

have you looked at the statistics on how many Ram Air IV engines were installed in firebirds and how many of them are still around after 40+ years. If you add in the collectibility of that combo for the surviving cars I dont think too many people are looking for headers. Just my opinion, good luck.

I am sure that those who have the RA IV would be interested, but most are probably in perfectly restored original cars, being that they are so rare and valuable. So I think you would have a market, just not a high demand. How many members on here have the coveted RA IV?

Edelbrock Heads

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone uses the RA IV Edelbrock heads? The purpose for the headers is to use the headers on converted cars. I have built about 5 Pontiac stroker engines and the choices are exhaust manifolds or Doug's headers. I think the stainless works headers would be great. Keep Pontiac engines in a classic Pontiac with a quality stainless steel header.
Last year I built a 400 stroker into a 462" thumper and it ran 12.1 @ 113 in a 69 GTO. I think that's very respectable.
So who needs these headers????
