Hello,

I have to redo the seats of my 68 Catalina , what is the grain of thoses seats ?
Is it a Madrid or Seville grain vinyl ?

My interior color code is 511 , blue.
I also need a new carpet, but it's hard to find the right color via a computer screen...;)

Also, I have a 389ci in place of the original 400. I d like to fit short headers because the car is lowered on coil springs for instance and I hope airride in the future. Do you know some shorty headers that would fit the engine bay ? I have power brakes ;)

Thanks

David

Looking at the catalog from www.amesperf.com for large cars it appears Seville was used on older vehicles while 1968 would be Madrid. Their catalog also has carpets. Doug's makes long tube headers for the car but I doubt you will find a manufacturer of shorties. They would probably have to be custom made. Good luck with your project.

Thanks both for your links and messages.

I d like to find if shorties that go in a tempets would go in a Catalina...what's the difference ??

Hedman replied me :
Hello
We do not have anything for the Catalina. Take a look at #28170 for the 64-72 GTO, LeMans, Tempest.
Thanks

and Sanderson :
I do not know of anyone that has tried them on that application. However, that chassis (B Platform) typically uses one of our straight down exiting headers on other applications such as the Chevy Caprice. With that in mind, I doubt the PF1 will fit. You can order the PF1 and try it if you like; and you can return it (undamaged / unmodified) if it doesn't fit, but you'll be responsible for all shipping charges.

I will post pictures of the Catalina later... ;-)

completely different frame between A body and B body
the Hedman would fit the engine but no idea about the frame and steering, etc.
the PF1 is for a Firebird so it would fit the engine but again a different chasis
buy the flange and have an exhaust shop build them
