Good evening,
I'm Ralph and recently bought a 1968 Catalina convertible. One of the few things that are not yet done on this is the windshield washer. There are just random hoses not really connected in a meaningful way, and there is no reservoir bottle.
I can manage to buy a bottle, but it would be great if any of you guys could help me out with some pictures how all the components (bottle, pump, outlets, ...) should be connected with the hoses.
Hope to hear from you!
Ralph

Look at the engine compartment picture in this link. The washer bottle can be seen in the bottom of the picture, center. The washer pump is on the wiper motor and you can see the hoses going from the pump to the spray nozzles on the hood.

The hose from the washer bottle goes to the center conection on the pump, then the hoses to the nozzles connect to the other 2 conections. Don't be surprised if the pump needs to be replaced or at least resealed. Very common failure after about 10 years of use.

Thanks for the hints. Actually the original pump is already defunct, and some small replacement pump was installed (which I didn't recognize as a pump, as the original one is still installed). But the hoses seem to have not been connected by the previous owner, and it only has one outlet. So I'll have to figure some way...
BTW, does anyone have the partnumber of the original washer bottle? Is it same one that was used on GTO of 1968?

the A series bodies did not use the same bottle as the B series bodies
