I have a 68 firebird 2bbl 350. The car has a new carb. The car starts and runs good until it gets to running temp then it sputters then quits. The car will not restart until it cools down. Then I can go through the whole procedure again. I have changed carb checked plugs, coolant just running out of things to check. Any thoughts/suggestions? I appreciate any ideas Thanks

Have you checked the points to see if they are burnt?
Have you checked the cap and rotor to see if the contacts are worn?
Have you set the point dwell angle to 30 degrees or used a feeler gauge and set them for .016?
Have you set the initial timing to 9 degrees BTDC?
Why did you change the carburetor, because it would stall when warm?
You have a clean fuel filter?
Did you do a fuel pressure test?
Have you checked for any cracked or broken rubber vacuum lines?
Have you checked for a vacuum leak at the carburetor base gasket?
How many miles on the engine?
Did you test the resistance of the spark plug wires, no more than 1k ohms per foot of wire.
