• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... i was wondering if any one can tell me what the mpg are with my 69 400 with the 400 trans it has an after market carb and intake.

thats something you have to figure out. Fill the car, write down the mileage on the odometer. Drive it till it's below 1/2 tank, fill the car, compare the new mileage to the old mileage and take that number and divide it by the number of gallons the second fill took.

okay thanks im planing on taking it on a 1000 mile road trip just trying to figure out how much it will cost me.

whats' the rear end ratio? what size tires? what cam shaft? what size carb? which intake, lots of factors involved, a pure ball park figure 15 mpg
