69 Lemans-couple questions

the masters are not the same for drum and disk brakes. The booster you will have to be carefull with the clearance between the rod coming out of the booster and the piston cup on the master cylinder, too short and you have too much play in the pedal, too long and the brakes dont release.

you wouldn't happen to know which MC and booster I would need do you?

Will I also need a proportioning valve?

im surprised the kit you bought didnt include that or that there are no suggestions in the instructions. The masters and boosters are available from the Pontiac vendors such as www.amesperf.com. Just get the disk brake combo for your year vehicle and see if they list a proportioning valve or again no mention of it in the instructions for the kit?

Ok ive narrowed it down. I do need a new MC and proportioning valve.

Any idea on MC bore hole size? Ive seen them in 1" and 1 1/8"...its got me confused! lol

the site where you are looking doesnt tell you power versus manual and disk versus drum. Guess I'm too used to ordering stuff from Ames, there is only one master listed for disks with power.
