70 lemans engine guidance...

Hello all. I have a 70 lemans sport and im in a bind on what i wanna do with the power. I have the 350 and the th350(I believe that's what it is, D4?)that came in the car, should i have that built up or buy a 400 or something,. I wanna spend about 1500-2000g on it....what's yall's opinion?

You can spend money on the 350 but a 400 or 455 would be a better starting point.
