Hi I'm looking to replace the in dash speaker and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do it cause I don't know how hard its going to be. So any tips would be helpful Thanks
On the intermediate body cars you drop the AC duct under the dash, remove the radio, and then the speaker.
If you intend to keep this car you might want to buy a copy of the factory Service Manual.
it looks like it. The dash is two parts the main vinyl part and a metal part that butts up to the windshield and it shows that off. also when I looked under it seemed to be between the metal cover and the main dash bracket. But I may just be dumb idk lol.
Did you look in section 15 of the manual, Accessories, B series Radio and Front Speaker Installation?
It has a diagram, the stereo version is more detailed, and shows the top of the instrument panel being removed. It gives the impression that it is clipped on.
