72 grand prix

I just aquired a 72 grand prix and i need help trying to figure out what kind of engine it has in it... i cant make out any of the codes on or around the distributor pad.. also, i cannot find the markings on the side dictating 400 or otherwise.. i do have the engine code stamped by the waterpump xv is the marking.. and the head casting is 7h1.. also does not have the pyramid on the back of the engine any help would be appreciated!!
 
I found out its a 400 built in 1970 with 350 heads thanks for the advice...
