Hey Guys, New to the forums here. I have a question I am hoping someone here has an answer for it. Back in my younger days I had a 1973 LeMans GT, I loved that car. It had everything I ever wanted in a muscle car. It had a 350 3-speed in the floor and a Hurst shifter. It had factory dual exhaust and I added Cherry Bomb glass packs that sounded great. I put HiJacker air shocks on the back to raise the rear up. I had 60s on the back and 70s on the front. She was a head turner especially through the gears.
Anyway here is my question. I have noticed that most pictures I have seen of these cars have the louvered rear windows but not all of them. Mine was not a louvered window in the back. Was this a certain designation like a Sports Coup that had these louvered windows? Mine was a GT and had the stripe down the side in the center. I have noticed that some have the stripe and some don't and some have the louvered windows and some don't. I was curious on why that is or just what designates the difference in the louvered and non louvered windows?
Thanks in advance for any response on this.
