From the 1971 manual
!. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Release parking brake.
3. Remove two attaching nuts.
4. Remove pedal to dash brace screws.
5. Remove switch wire
6. Remove cable retainer from clevis.
7. Remove pedal assembly.
