Between the pump and the carb, which means cutting the hard fuel line and adding an adapter. Or get shorter hard lines to go between the adapter.
Or just to test , get a rubber hose and clamps .

Fuel pump was bad. Pulled it off and it was rusted bad. Couldn't get the pump lever to move not even with a vice.
