79 pontiac 6.6 motor bad???

a video on the internet with some sort of sound isnt what you base a decision such as whether you need a new motor. Somebody has to determine the exact source of the noise. The underhood sound could be a alternator bearing or something minor the inside noise sounds like an exhaust issue. Can you determine the source of the noises? Other than the noise are there are other problems? Is the oil pressure light on or a low gauge reading?

The squeaking noise sounds like it's coming form the piston
I forgot to mention the car overheated on me yesterday and ever since then it's been making weird noise

Sounds like a froze up wrist pin/ broken rod to me ........

Use a piece of broom handle to listen to find the bad cylinder.

Tear it apart before more stuff gets damaged.

The engine has 8 pistons inside the block, recommend you have someone familar with engines look at it.

Yea my uncle is a mechanic he's gonna come and check it out and I appreciate the help guys it's a beautiful car and it's a damn shame something bads gotta happen to it
