• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Eight4Firebird

Hello!

My girlfriend's dad decided it was time to sell his 1984 Firebird, so I got it. I paid $200 for it. It was cheap because it needed a new carburetor. Needed shocks and tires, so I got those too, but they weren't a 'necessity'

I don't know that much about cars, but I am learning as I go. My brother helped me put in the carb (better to spend $290 for the part and do it myself, than pay a mechanic $600+)

It has 50k miles on it, not bad for a 22-year-old car.
