85 pontiac won't turn over when staring engine?

Ok so a couple hours ago I was driving in the firebird to run some errands, the drive was fine until I was on my way home and made a u-turn, that is when the car just died on me, I tried to start it up again and it won't turn over when I try to start it now it is parked at a neighbors house a block away =[

I changed the spark plugs when I got the vehicle and cleaned any corrosion I noticed

Still no luck =[

I can tell it wants to start but it won't turn over =[

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!!!!!

I assume you mean the engine will crank but not fire. You have to check if you have spark at the plugs and fuel getting to the engine. Which engine do you have?

Yeah it would crank but not fire I just rechecked everything and found a loose spark plug wire/connector? I checked it, popped it out and put it back in and it fired right up. I'm not too familiar with cars or do I know a lot about mechanics but I resolved the problem, I can't believe I didn't notice it the first time,it's a v6 2.8 liter
