Just wondering if there were any aerocoupe fans around here to trade info with. Went through the GP forum but most posts on there were for late model stuff and not the g-body cars. seems like aerocoupe fans a few and far between. Have an 86 I'm working on. replaced original 86 305 with a 85 305 that had low miles. original had been taken apart and left sitting for quite a while. Body work is almost complete. I replaced the badly deteriorated urathane nose for glass one and changed over headlights to halogen type that replace bulbs from rear. Going to do color change to metalic blue in place of silver and silver in place of dark grey on bottom with silver vinyl 2+2 decals from local sign shop. also redoing interior with original cloth material for the seats and new carpet. Also looking for 86 2+2 body for a pro street project. Rust issues and drive train not inportant as long as all the rear window/truck pieces are there. Have almost every thing I need to back half a g-body car with narrow 9" and also have new 460ci BBC blower motor and I think one of these aerocoupes would look really nasty slammed with 21" tires in rear all tucked up inside the wheelwells. I can dream can't I?
