hey i was wondering if the GT rear panels would match up with front notch back front panels so if i wanted the front end of a notch back put together with rear of a GT would the lines match up on the roof
also what colors really make a fiero "pop" i need ideas for when i go to paint mine

Not sure about the panels, but color-wise, my '85 is painted '88 Bright Yellow. I have '88 black honeycomb GT wheels on it for a nice contrast.
 
like say i want to put a rear clip 86 GT fast back on a notch back 84 but keep the front clip of the notch back

It can be done but there is some electrical issues. The fastbacks have the light up "PONTIAC" in the middle which will need to be hooked up to an accessory power so it comes on when the engine is running. The other issue is the tail lights. The fastbacks used seperate yellow turn signals so you will need the harness and relay.
Mechanically you can mount any body panel to any year.

Visually the fastbacks use a smooth rounded trim line and the 84 has a ribbed style. You will also need the fastback side marker lights as well. The rear GT has the aero skirt as well. For the dual exhaust cut outs, You can install a GT muffler to get the twin tail pipes.
 
alright so if i have the harness i can hook it up and it should work properly given that there is no electrical problem
 
Engine running hot.

Hi, i own a 1986 fiero GT. after failing emission on the was home it ran hot for the first time. i replace the thermostat. usually when the temp guage move near the hot mark i tur on the AC and it go back to normal. can you help me with this problem.

What test did it fail for on the emissions? Post the readings that failed.
Running hot could be many things. When was the last time the coolant was flushed/filled?
