88 fiero timing help needed

I have an 88 Fiero 2.5L 4 cylinder automatic that is having what seems to be timing issues. We just got the head (re decked) put on and everything reassembled just fine. There is a miss-fire and my dad thinks its a timing issue and that we need to adjust the timing. I cannot find any information on adjusting the timing for a 4 cylinder. I will be happy to give more information about the car.

The 87 - 88 4 cylinder 2.5 Fiero is DIS. That means the timing is non-adjustable.
