88 Firebird 350 Tranny ?'s?

Ok i messed up my tranny and i need a new on....im pretty sure there is a 700r4 transmission in there now....Its a 88 5.7 350....i was wondering has anyone or do you know can i put a 400 turbo in there? Will it fit?
