I have a 1991 Trans Am convertible with the original saddle leather seats. As usual, after many years of getting in and out, the drivers seat back near the door has worn through. The other seats are looking a little sad also. Anyone out there have any advice on what to do to get these seats repaired? Is the seat upholstery available from anyone or will I have to work with an upholstery shop to get a "almost right" seat? Thanks, Vince

Look for Firebird vendors such as below
Thanks! That gets me a lot closer. The one Firebirdcentral sells is for the split rear seat. The convertibles had a common back cusion with split bottoms. My back cusion is in great shape so ... I might get by just using the other parts and leaving that alone. I'll call them and see if there are options. Now to figure out how to sew it to the pleated plastic sides of the seat. Oh, what fun!

That's what they make upholstery shops for
