92 Firebird Engine suggestions?

I have a 1992 Firebird with a V6 engine, i would like a rebuild it into a 350 v8, does anyone know what kind of block i should use that would fit up perfect with my tranny without changing anything.

Your trans won't work. You'll need a 700r4 out a V8 Camaro/Firebird(provided you have an automatic, you didn't specify what trans you have).

As far as what block, unless you plan on making huge power any block will work really. Ideally, you could pick up a TPI motor out of Camaro/Firebird and just build that.
