my 93 trans-am runs great when cold. but wen it warms up it boggs down at a idle an dies starts right back up an runs normal for a few minutes than start bogging again..clears out when reved up. but idles ruff. i would be very thankfull for any ideas on this.:(

how many miles on the car? how many miles since the last tuneup? do you ever put fuel injector cleaner in the tank?

this is baffling me........

it has well over 200.000 miles an i have cleand the injectors replaced fuel pump about a year ago .....had a full tune up about 4.000 mil. ago all new vacume lines new E,M,C ........ITS LIKE ITS VAPOR LOCKING BUT I CANT SEE ANY BUILD UP OF GASES IN THE MOTOR. WEN I OPEN THE OIL CAP....... IT MAKES A SUCKING NOISE COMING FROM THE AIR FILTER OR THROTTLE BODY IF YOU HAVE THE AIR FILTER OFF .....ONLY MAKES THE NOISE RIGHT BEFOR IT DIES......THEN STARTS RIGHT BACK UP AN RUNS FINE FOR ANOUT 3-5 MIN.

theres no service engine light either

did the full tuneup include fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, and wires?

yes everything pluge wires cap button fuel filter airfilter an more "every thing" i'v boubble checked for vacume leaks but it only does it wen it at running temt. wen its cold it runs grate so i would not think it would be vacume.......but then again at this point i just dont know......i warmed it up an wen it started doing it i pulled to vacume hose off the EGR an pluged to hose but it made no differnce at all so i dont think it the EGR.....

sounds like the dreaded optispark (distributor) is dieing even with a fresh tune up 200k is alot of miles for an opti ..
either that or the link cable between the opti and the main harness has damage or the connecters are corroded..
those would be my first checks ..
