Got the dang car put back together. She started up right away no timing issues, however; this car is possessed I'm convinced of it. It hates me. I'm forcing it to work and I think it just wants a trip to the crusher.
The dad gum oil pan gasket decided to leak right where I just replaced that oil pump housing gasket. I nearly gave up right then and there. I shut it off wiped off everything and tightened up the oil pan bolts like I didn't care if the stupid pan lip wound up bent or not (yes I was mad). Well the leak is now a very slow seep. I think the cork has been soaked and is now going to always leak thru capillary action.

On another note I test drove the car to pick up a to go order dinner at a local Mexican place La parillia. The ac fan was working on the way to the restaurant. Got back in the car to return home and now the fan has quit working. The bad thing about that is no defrosters in the morning.

If it aint one thing its another. I'll admit the oil pan was self induced. It deserves another shot at an oem design gasket. But a car payment is beginning to look better and better.

The windshield (replaced) or what ever is still leaking water on the carpets every time it rains.
trunk also has a leak
drivers window stiff as a board to roll back up
fan not working
oil pan leaking

The car starts and runs like a champ
new clutch
new clutch master and slave cylinder
new timing belt
new front and rear main seals
a/c works if the fan works
new tires.

great news!
drove Leona to work and back about a 65 mile round trip. Parked her on a level surface and checked the oil level about an hour later. She hasn't lost a drop! Right on the full mark! So my worries about the oil pan may be over. I parked on a level here at work today (Tues 10/17) and I'll give the level another check before leaving to go home.

Now my priority can move to the fan problem

good to hear things are going well for a change

Thanks Melsg5 !
Checked oil level again and all is well !
The fan problem was just a loose ground connector on the fan. It has
one of those plastic plug end connected to a tab. Whole thing was rusty.
Sooo, as long as it don't rain and get my carpets soaking wet, we are good
to go for a least a little while.
I'm thinking I'll taker her to a body shop maybe see if they can reseal the leaks?
After I pour flex seal all down the windshield first just because.
