Take it off ....if you call first and they can test it. ( they are not going to crawl under the car)

Otherwise... get the Haynes manuel for the JBodies ( buy one or borrow one at the library) for the correct ICM test procedures.

The JBody forums site is currently down , otherwise I would ask one of the guys for help for you.

My Haynes Jbook is buried in my moving boxes ...somewhere...............:(

In 94 ,they changed the reluctor wheel and CPS , so a 92-93 will not work.

Otherwise you could of gotten a new 92-93 ICM for $40 on Ebay.

The downside to this is, only one place in the US has the 92 CPS , no one else sells them.

Used parts are your best friend on these motors............. Get as many spare parts as you can............;)
