94 TA questions

Hey! I'm new here and to TA's and I have a couple questions.

I just bought a 94 TA LT1 V8 with a $2200 performance tranny with 118k miles. It is in excellent condition, but I have a couple questions.

First--when I turn my lights off, the lights go down, but it sounds as though the motor is still running for about 10 more seconds. Any ideas on an easy fix?

Second--my ABS INOP light is always on--safe to assume ABS isn't working??

Third--I need a new taillight (It's cracked and moisture is getting in) and foglight--can anyone recommend any good websites where I could purchase new ones?

The ABS could just be disconected, I always do this cause I dont like it. Or get a code reader and see if somthing is wrong, with regards to the lights, check your relay switch. And if you go on Classic performance.com, or ebay, or try f-bodies.com. One of thoses places should have somthing for you. Or try a scrap yard, you somtimes find great deals there. If your not apposed to buyin from Canada, go to david t's. com. Check the front sensor wires for breaks. Sometimes you'll have to untape them since I've run across quite a few that break under the tape. Check your rear sensor harness atop the center section of the rear housing.
If all looks well you'll need a scan.

Your headlight problem sounds like a bad gear or bushings. The motor should shut off on high current when the lights close. Thare is also a timer that will shut them off if the sensor does not see a current spike. Topdown solutions has the info and parts you need. Lon is a good guy and knows his stuff.
