• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum, and I have an idea so here it is, I have been toying with this for a while, I would like to take 4.0L V8 out of an Aurora and put it into a 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport. Has anyone ever seen this done? I feel that this would be theoretically possible it would be a tight fit but its already a tight fit in an Aurora. I think it would be cool to see this done. Talk about a sleeper a 20+ year old mini van with a 32 valve V8 that could be fun!:D

did you measure the physical dimensions of the two engines? did you determine if the bolt patterns on the transmissions are matching?

Don't know if it could be done easily. I'd like to see it done tho, but I'd go with a 4.6 Northstar instead of the 4.0. Same size, more power, and I'd like to hear this vehicle go down the road with some Flowmaster mufflers!
