96 Grand Am Se 3.1 V6 spectre air filter

Hey im trying to figure out if i can put a Spectre Performance air filter in my 96 pontiac, but im not entirely sure if putting the filter in will trip the emissions sensor. anyone know if this is possible?

as long as the mass air flow sensor is still in the air path you will be ok... gas engines dont trip the sensor code as easy as diesels do.
