96 Pontiac Sunfire Stalling.?

What would cause this pontiac to stall at the lights when sropped for a little while? It has to be shifted to park otherwise it would die off after a long stop at the lights. Tune up was done but didn't do much help...Please advise.

well first, do a scan since you claim to have plugs wires and airfilter.that just might set you in the right direction and maybe even end up shutting off that pesky check engine light.clear codes, let them trip again, these are valid codes after the tuneup.its a process of elimination.not a process of replacing parts.

What codes r in it . is egr 1 of them is O2 sensor? let me know email me

heres what it can be. Your torque convertor is locked in and wont lock out. Its a electric problem. its kinda like a clutch. so id shift it into neutral instead of park. but thats your problem. its your torque convertor not unlocking
