Hello I have been working on a 1996 Sunfire and I replaced the brake line going from the master cylinder back to about half way to the drivers side rear tire. Here's my question how do I purge or bleed the ABS system of air without using a scan tool? Is that possible? I am not getting fluid out of the line back there. I am not getting fluid out of the bleeder valve on the master cylinder either. I can get fluid out of one of the bleeder valves on the master cylinder but not the one that if offset (a little further back) from the one right on front.I have ben reading that you have to have a scan tool to do this so that it moves the piston back to home position and releases the check ball in there. I need to know of any other way to do it that doesn't involve a scan tool if any. Thanks for your help if you could!!!
