Hello. I am new here to the forums. I just purchased a 96 Sunfire convertible and i love it. It runs great and other than a new top has no mechanical problems. Except... When im driving slow, and I apply the brakes, the back breaks lock up almost like the ABS is locking them and unlocking them. Not sure why. It does not have any shaking or stuttering slowing from high speeds. Also, where is the best place to get a new top?

I had a similar issue with a 1993 Cavalier, the problem is the aftermarket brake shoes are not compatible with the stock system. Recommend you have the rear shoes replaced with A/C Delco shoes. Since we dont know where you live you should use google to find a shop near you for the top.
