Well after spending 500 bucks at a garage yesterday to get a front hub replaced and a few smaller things done as well I've decided to try and do most repairs myself if possible aside from ball joints n struts ect to save money. Like $98/hour shop fee's....... Good lord.

Im a hands on type of guy and can follow instructions well so just wondering if this can be done in a back yard driveway or does it need special tools in a shop?

Thanks.

OH 2.2L Sunfire Standard btw.

really hard questions to answer without knowing your skill level and what you may consider a special tool someone else would consider standard equipment. Try finding a Haynes or similar manual at a book store or library and read up on what your trying to do.

a haynes manual is the best thing you could buy. they go into deep analysis, advise you if the backyard mechanic can do the fix and gives you step by step information as to how to do the fix. they generally dont cost that much either
