96 sunfire loss of power.

Ok I have a 96 sunfire with the 2.4, it seemed to be running fine yesterday, but after I got gas last night I noticed a hesitation, then when I got in it to go to work this morning I had almost no power at all, I suppose I could have gotten some bad gas, but this is to the point I drove my wifes mini van it ran so bad, its like every time you hit the gas there's nothing just spits like it doesn't know what you're trying to do, any help would be great, thanks Damon.

you are probably having a similar problem i just had. it can be a few things. to start off with i would check youur spark plugs, plug wires, coil pack, then check your fuel and air filter.

no you dont have to check all that it sounds like to much water in the gas go to the store and get some gas additive that takes out water will straighten up
