The low side port is on or by the receiver drier along the inner fender apron.
The green cap is a service technician connection and the high side connector (Which you do not want to use to add refrigerant) is in the line on the front of the car.
There is a high and low side to the a/c system to recharge it. That green cap is for the EVAP system for testing it for leaks via a smoke test. Usually the caps on the a/c are black on gm products. but some time they are different colors like a light blue. And most of the time the caps have letters on their tops. L for low side port, and H for high side port. hope this helps
