Hello everyone. I am hoping someone here can help me with this problem. I have a 97 Grand AM GT 3.1l automatic. When running the air in the car the copmressor never cycles and causes the eninge to overheat if the outside temp is above 90. It also takes a while for the fan to turn on when activating the ac system. Car has a new radiator, fan, thermostat, and water pump. So I dont believe its the cooling system. This car never ran above the middle on the temp guage but now it has changed. Any help or information would be great.

Here is a couple of suggestions make sure the ac switch is not set to "Max" this will make the compressor run all the time also it could be low on refrigerant .

I have tried the switch setting in all the ac positions it still does it.....System have been vacuumed down completely and fully charged still does it. This car never have a problem and now this is a nagging issue that I cant get fixed
