The engine backfired while cranking. The timing chain tensioner was bottomed out and chain slipped causing the piston to hit the valves. It broke the head off of an exhaust valve. not much damage to the head, but the #2 piston is cracked. Can I get at the rod bolts without removing the counter shaft assembly? If I can't, I won't bother removing the pan. Thanks for the help.
